A Grand Gesture of Humanity: Free Medical Camp at Ranjha Hospital
On 28th December 2025, a Grand Free Medical Camp was successfully conducted at Ranjha Hospital, Thatta Alia, Tehsil Phalia, District Mandi Bahauddin, marking a memorable day of compassion, service, and national pride. The initiative was dedicated to providing quality healthcare to the needy and underprivileged, many of whom lack regular access to medical facilities.
From early morning, patients from surrounding villages and distant areas arrived with hope in their hearts. The hospital premises reflected an atmosphere of care, discipline, and warmth as doctors, paramedics, and volunteers worked together to ensure that every individual received proper attention and dignified treatment.
The occasion was made truly historic by the presence of Dr. Ghulam Nabi as Chief Guest — a distinguished national figure whose contributions to Pakistan’s scientific strength remain a source of pride for the entire nation, particularly his pivotal role in the historic nuclear tests of 28th May 1998. His presence added exceptional honor and inspiration to the event, symbolizing the powerful connection between national service and humanitarian responsibility.
The camp was further graced by Shahzada Alamgir Bajwa, Former Federal Minister of Pakistan, whose participation reflected strong support for social welfare initiatives and public service. Both distinguished guests appreciated the efforts of the organizers, medical staff, and volunteers, and emphasized the importance of continuing such programs to uplift marginalized communities.
Throughout the day, hundreds of patients received free medical consultations, diagnostic services, and essential medicines. For many families, this camp became a lifeline — offering relief from illness, reassurance in uncertainty, and renewed faith in community support.
The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, unity, and quiet joy. The heartfelt prayers of patients and the gentle smiles of relief served as the greatest reward for everyone involved.
This grand medical camp was not simply a healthcare event; it was a powerful expression of national pride, social responsibility, and service to humanity. It reminded all present that true leadership is measured not only by achievements, but by compassion for those in need.
As the day concluded, the impact of this noble effort continued to resonate — in healed bodies, uplifted spirits, and strengthened community bonds — leaving behind a legacy of hope and humanity that will be remembered for years to come.
